There are several well-shaded, private campsites with shared bathrooms,hot showers and a wash area. Each one is provided with a picnic table.
This structure was specifically built to provide shelter for the visitors of Wenu Mapu to perform outdoor activities when the weather does not permit; it is especially useful for campers.
There are several trails within the forest of Wenu Mapu. The paths loop around giant old trees, some of which are hundreds of years of age. One will come upon lookouts with views of the volcano, surrounding mountains and Caburga Lake with sitting areas to relax and observe the forest. For those who enjoy birdwatching, these are excellent locations to do so....
